fmagiftexchange is holding another exchange, this time for Valentine's and White Day, and I decided to participate this time (after some drama that happened last year or even earlier). There were way too many amazing prompts this year and I really couldn't decide what to pick. Sadly, this year I'm only able to produce a sketch, time flies way too quickly

Jan. 6th, 2012 08:41 pmDuring New Year's party (which was great, thank you sooo much! <333) my beloved friends gave me 8 Promarkers, the skin tones set, and a sketchbook. I have no idea what I'd done to deserve it, but I'm really, trully grateful for your gifts <333
because I know how expensive Promarkers are, I decided to use this particular sketchbook for color pictures only, and thus it'll be the book in which I'll practice using those things. it'll be a tough trip, they're hella difficult to use, at least for me...

Honest question, please answer
Dec. 22nd, 2011 11:45 amSo apparently LJ is introducing some changes (which apparently are being tested on Russian LJ so I'm not sure if they'll be included in english LJ) and this caused a massive runaway of users. Personally, those changes don't exactly affect me and my way of using the board so I'm willing to stay here, because I have fun watching certain comms and many interesting users, interacting with you all, exchanging ideas, watching art and reading beautiful writing. Thereofore I have a question for you, which I'd like you to answer me honestly:
Are you willing to stay on LJ, or are you moving to some other board? If yes, then where?
I'm trying to determine how many of my flist is going to stay. I already know about couple of amazing people who've left LJ, so I'm trying to see of it's worth for me to stay. Thanks in advance

and I found it only by accident because I'm following one of the groups it was posted in. maybe it's a coincidence, or maybe someone did use my picture as inspiration. I'm not going to bash this person nor do I want anyone to do so, because I have absolutely no reason to. it just seems funny^^;

back from holidays
Sep. 10th, 2011 04:19 pmthis last week, I went on holidays to our sea shore. all alone. in a small town which I knew would be deserted after holiday season. and you know what? I don't regret it at all. I needed this kind of calm holidays, out of noise and crowd. it helped me recharge my batteries, relax a bit and get as much fresh air and activity as I wanted.

it was a really relaxing week. I think I walked around 100km in total, which resulted in my swollen foot. I managed to finish one book, which is a great achievement for me. school destroyed the joy of reading for me, now I'm getting it back, slowly.
I even managed to draw a bit, but only a bit, as I wanted to be as active as possible during this time, which resulted in me being away for at least 11 hours a day.

Aug. 3rd, 2011 12:25 pmbecause I haven't written anything here in about a month O_o sorry>< how is everyone? I hope things are good for you and everyone's having good summer^^ mine so far is rather fun. a few weeks ago we had a convention, third edition of one of my favourite ones. and again, it was a blast :D the best thing about cons is meeting all those people I get to see only once a year sometimes ;_; so I was extremely happy to see them all, to goof around and squee over art supplies^^; the sad thing is, one of my best friends suddenly started feeling emo, and has been emo ever since (without any reason, because she's awesome and so determined) and I don't know what to do to help her ;_;
other than that I've been doing good. my holidays are coming soon, at the beginning of september I'm going to the sea shore for a week! to SPA resort! I'm so happy, my first real vacations since I finished my uni ;_;
