I needed something to take my mind off of things around me. didn't work too well, broke down again. shit. but it's at least coming closer to being finished. what's with me and those backgrounds lately?
thanks^^; working on the table was pretty difficult, usually I use photo textures for materials and this one is painted>< doesn;t look too much like wood^^;
I really like this. I love the half-finished feel to it, too; it kind of gives me an idea where you're going with it. That you're taking the time with all those people in the background is amazing.
I think I really love the trio of girls off to the left of the page, giggling together.

haha yeah those girls were fun to draw. aside from main characters they're the liveliest people in the picture^^ as teenage girls should be. glad you like them
I don't know, I enjoy seeing them. It's like...a study period or something for me. An enjoyable one; plus there's the, "Ooo, I wonder what will be done with that bit right there?" aspect.
thank you! she's a very expressive girl and because she's tiny and skinny, it's fun teasing her^^ arm hair and freckles are very fun to draw, thanks for noticing^^
I love the background; all the detail put into the people, its like a photograph rather than a drawing. I also love how you can see through them too. I know its not finished, but its kind of a cool effect all the same. :)
thanks. yeah, that's my biggest sin as an artist, I make things composed like photographs>< it's not exactly ambitious but I can't do anything better>< but I'm glad you enjoy it despite its flaws^^;

There's nothing wrong with complicated backgrounds if you ask me. But then I'm not the one having the work with doing them. Crappy? You mean complex, nice and interesting I think. For both ^^
