HAPPY EASTER and sketch dump

happy easter to anyone who celebrates! hope you have great holidays!

as for the sketch dump, I was in a really foul mood today, and to not annoy my family more than I already have, I sat down and lost myself in sketches, as usual




this page is dedicated to 3 people: qashqai1, duokai and the_gakushi. because they're really supportive of me and encourage me to work on my own stuff rather than abandoning it^^; they're also only 3 people that know the most about my ideas and don't laugh at me for them.
so yeah, qashqai1 gets Bruce (from one meme I did on DA) because she's been drawing him constantly and I don't even comprehend what I did to deserve such amount of pictures of my silly characters ;w; and she also gets her own OCs (as I promised), Ryan and (I think?) Tiarei. bad guy for smoking at Ryan^^; I don't know why, but I think he's a really adorable cuddly little fella XD and the idea of steam powered prothetic arm is too awesome to resist
the_gakushi gets the bottom part, with Nina in a certain place and certain time of my story^^; she's supposed to be around 10 at this pic. sorry if she doesn't^^;
and duokai gets Rebecca and Nina going shopping, because I haven't drawn them for him in a looong time^^; man, I wish I was able to dress as them and look decent ;_;

The young woman in the lower right is really nice. I also like the action shopping shot, too. I like the angle work for that one, as well as the folds in the woman's jeans.

I really love Ryan and the guy puffing smoke at him. (cool to the steampowered prosthetic arm, i have a character with a steam powered leg, well more spring than steam but yeah, steampunk)

I love it when you do stuff like this! I scrolled down the drawing "ok here's bruce... hmm new characters? More CoR characters, niiice... OH YEAAAAH, NINA IN THE HOUSE!" xDD that's probably the only way I can describe my reaction xD
I really love that last sketch in that "ready to kill" pose she reminded me a lot of Ed when he was a kid so yes she does look like she's ten ^^
You know it's the second time you're in bad mood and you do this. It's easter cheer up! Or not, I basically spent easter all by myself so I'm not in the best mood either ^^; but this surely helped a lot! If drawing helps keep on doin' it! (and I've got to figure out a way to give you something too ><)

hahaha yeah, yours is waaay down this time XDD but I'm glad you like it^^ it's true, I draw her rather rarely, but apart from bits and pieces of Nina's early life, I don't really have any coherent timeline for that part of her life^^; sorry^^;

Ach, to ten świąteczny stres xD mam nadzieję, że potem ci przeszedł zły humor. ^^ also, tobie też (teraz trochę spóźnione) wesołych świąt. c: zaś co do rysunków...
At first I was like this, but then I went that. XD
Dobra, udało ci się mnie zaskoczyć; ja tu wracam do domu, chwalę się swoją raną na twarzy na fejsie (xD), od niechcenia sprawdzam co nowego na LJ a tu co? XDDD
Ale bez kitu, naprawdę się szczerzę do kompa jak na tym "WWWWEEEE" xD. Bruce'a już wcześniej na dA widziałam, ale wtedy zapomniałam wspomnieć, że koloring kredeczkami bardzo mi się podoba i że przez outfit mi się skojarzył z dresem /gets shot/ po czapce z daszkiem zamawiam Bruce'a mówiącego "Masz jakiś problem?" XDDDDDDDD
A Ryan i Tiarei to... too... no kurde, jakie to zajebiste uczucie, jak ktoś rysuje twoje postaci i do tego robi to lepiej od ciebie xDD chociaż jak ktoś inny to robi, może być problem z oddaniem charakterów. Ale u ciebie go nie ma. XD foch na twarzy Ryana genialny (i trzęsąca się łapa, aż go świerzbi żeby mu przydzwonić haha), a małą zmianę, którą poczyniłaś na jego mechanicznej łapie, chyba wykorzystam... xDD btw, nie wiem, jak z adorable i cuddly, a little to on jest. XD jak go raz opisałam: "nie wyszedł jeszcze z okresu buntu i ma wzrost gimnazjalisty, ale w istocie jest pełnoletni". XD
Reszta też świetna, jak wszystkie twoje szkice /gets shot/ i widzę gościa z SOVIET DRACHMA! 8D w ogóle ja patrzę podpis, że to Nina tam jest, to se myślę "co za Nina? Przeca to ta najstarsza Elrikówna, a nie Nina" a dopiero potem do mnie doszło, że najstarsza córa Elrików też się tak nazywa XD

I've said it before, but I really love your work. And I especially love your coloring. I adore that grainy dimensional texture that you achieve. I have seen you come down on that before, but I adore it, and really would hate if you really went through with trying to blend it flat. I think it would detract from it. I love texture in artwork.

thank you ;_; I'm still amazed that you're actually enjoying the texture. because I thought that nowadays, when majority of pictures posted is digital and smooth, graininess and texture would be degrading for pictures^^; but you're right, in draditional drawings texture is what makes them unique^^ thank you once again for amazing compliments <333
