sketching all the way to Big Bang

because I need to practice to be flexible enough for big bang this year.

the image wouldn't leave me but I haven't had the skills to draw it. because really, when all you draw are fit bodies, it's tough drawing a chubby one. not to mention, a chubby kid. so this is truly my first chubby full body^^; and my first fish. and my first water splash>< which looks terrible... so many firsts^^; oh well, it's still training time!
just before you ask, those are my usual 3 boys. may be hard recognizing them^^;

Here some interesting pictures of splash patterns that happen under different circumstances. http://people.rit.edu/andpph/exhibit-splashes.html
Also, here is a fish leaping out of water to study... I don't know if the splash pattern is different when it is yanked out of the water or not, but you can see how it's different than when you drop something into water. I wasn't able to find a good closeup of pulling a fish out. However, you can still get a good look at the behavior of water when something separates it from the larger body.
