because I need to practice to be flexible enough for big bang this year.

the image wouldn't leave me but I haven't had the skills to draw it. because really, when all you draw are fit bodies, it's tough drawing a chubby one. not to mention, a chubby kid. so this is truly my first chubby full body^^; and my first fish. and my first water splash>< which looks terrible... so many firsts^^; oh well, it's still training time!
just before you ask, those are my usual 3 boys. may be hard recognizing them^^;

Aww, they're so cute! The center boy reminds me of Ryu from Gatchaman - he looks like that and he's from a family of fishermen!

I like your splash but you might need to define the shore from the water a bit more. I thought they were in the water at first glance.

I really love the shading on the center boy. Seriously good work!

Gatchaman was the first anime I fell in love with back in the '70's. While it's still really popular in Japan, unless you found it in the '70's or when they revamped it for an OAV in the '80's, you probably wouldn't know it. Mind you, there's been a live action Gatchaman on the books for as long as I can remember and a commercial showing off the possibility of it was released 2-4 years ago. At any rate, this is Ryu.

You're welcome! Glad to be of assistance!

Oh yes it's definitely possible. I've known boys who were chubby wubby when they were boys who shot up and traded all their excess for muscle. Usually those boys were ones who got involved in a lot of physical activities around puberty. Seems like these three, you told me that one of them was pretty much one to run circles around the other two, so probably they started shedding weight just trying to keep up with him.

PS. I think the main problem with the splash is that it looks more like a solid that has been broken. Especially the free droplets. I'd say there ought be be more spray, and that the individual droplets should probably mostly be more rounded maybe some of them might have slight tails towards the actual sheet of water they're being thrown from. Otherwise though, for a first time drawing a splash I think it's quite good.

ETA:
Here some interesting pictures of splash patterns that happen under different circumstances. http://people.rit.edu/andpph/exhibit-splashes.html

Also, here is a fish leaping out of water to study... I don't know if the splash pattern is different when it is yanked out of the water or not, but you can see how it's different than when you drop something into water. I wasn't able to find a good closeup of pulling a fish out. However, you can still get a good look at the behavior of water when something separates it from the larger body.

zajebiste grubaski, ale jeszcze jedna uwaga- z tak luźną żyłką nie miałby szans wyciągnąć ryby- musi być krótsza i napięta O:
