thank you to those who managed to give me some constructive criticism, now I know my mistakes and will gradually move to working on them. maybe in next 20 years I'll manage to be as amazing as you <333 just kidding XD
soooo after thinking over all the advice I got and doing some basic training with posemaniac, I'm posting first results

because Kate told me to work on twiggy girls (and Nina IS supposed to be a twiggy) and Megan told me to work on my stiff characters and all, here is my first excercise. I figured the best way to work on stiffness of my characters is to draw them doing sports. first stop - tennis. I have never played it nor really watched it so forgive me if the poses are impossible^^;
not sure if I'll let the girl lose any more weight but hey, this should be better, right?^^; I kinda like the one where she's stretching, looks pretty convincing to me. but I may be wrong.
any other advice would be loved! I'll work on my lines too, I promise^^;

Date: 2010-12-23 10:15 pm (UTC)I like the bottom two with the tennis playing; the charging forward pose is very good, I think; the movement in the final sketch is really well done.
I don't see anything "off" about any of these pieces except what I noted regarding the first illo. XD

Date: 2010-12-25 07:23 pm (UTC)as for the first one, the training I'm undergoing now is about exaggerating a bit to make things look a little less stiff. so it's intended, but thank you for spotting it^^
thank you very much for overlooking those! <33
