happy holidays! and random picture

I know it's past easter in many places already, but here we're still celebrating the second day of it^^; so I'd like to wish everyone happy holidays and nice spring, as it's finally giving us lots of sun and warmth XDD



the other day my bro told me that he'd like me to make a mono-coloric picture, something totally different from my usual stuff. I stumbled upon a picture on DA that was done in similar fashion and I thought 'hey, this can be an interesting idea'. and I gave it a go. the process wasn't all that tiring actually, because the pictures don't have any lineworks, only sketches of general ideas. and the result is nice, in my opinion. of course, I could've worked more on BGs and all, but those simple ones work fine as well, I think. so here you have it, four colors. pick your favourite XDD

yeah... sun and warmth was it... *looks out* I guess I can at least dream of yesterday ;_; But happy continued holidays, since we too still have today as well ^^

Oh, you should be happy with all of them! No doubt about that. For pics like these I suspect that one's favourite colors can affect the favouritism somewhat XD

The newcomer snow luckily disappeared at noon or so. But still, seeing the ground white again when I looked out through the window this morning was NOT a pleasant way to start the day >< .

This is some really cool work. I love how you integrated the background color into the characters' eye color and bits of clothing etc., to bring it all together.
