so job hunting doesn't end, around 20 applications were sent but only one answer came... and it's not sure I'll get the job because they're using a different program (which I was about to learn when I'm through with my driving licence exam>< ) soooo... crisis is really tough for us architects.... I pity around 30 of my friends who finished their diplomas yesterday. congratulate to you all nevertheless!!

driving licence... yes, exam's in a week... and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO scared>< this'll probably be a failure, very few people pass on their first try. still, I'd like to.... it costs me lots of money and right now? I can't really AFFORD to fail.. we'll see though:/

even if the situation's really really bad, I try to stay calm and optimistic, at least I try not to show how depressing it all is for me. so far everything's been in perfect order for me. right now it's all crumbling away..................

on a lighter note, a meme taken from [livejournal.com profile] sharyamato
Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given

FMA
most people who know me think it's my obsession and the only series I like. it's not really true because I'm very open to various kinds of anime and I try to find myself at least one or 2 series each season. there are, of course, diamonds in a pile of coal, and this is one of them
so far, the best manga I've ever read. when it comes to composition, development and storytelling. when it comes to art.... not so much XDDDD funny thing is, when I found the first chapter available to download on Toriyamaworld..... 6years ago? I wasn't pleased with the cover at all (admit it, first volume's cover just sucks XDD) so I ditched it...... next day my bro said "read it, it's cool"... that's how it started^^; and continues till this day
what attracts me to it - the story, composition of it, characterisation of each appearing person, the fact that even background characters are carefully thought up and none of them looks the same, justification of each event, each scene and even each WORD into later developments. and of course... plot twists^^ cannot wait for 5th april when second anime season appears and dreads the day when the manga ends..... hopefully Soul Eater doesn't end too soon... oh and if making up after stories of a series is considered an obsession.... then you're free to call me a maniac^^;;

Escaflowne
my long long lost lasting love. the anime which I first saw in.... french I think XDDD didn't understand a word and the dubbing was HORRID but... somehow got attached to it. it then reappeard on various TV channels, one Polish too, luckily^^ I can watch it over and over again, almost know all eps by heart^^ it's one of those series in which every episode is meaningful, each has something that just sucks me into it the only other one I can think of is FMP TSR but that's another story^^;
even if most people whine about art in it, I don't care about them, it's gorgeus. colors, backgrounds, details, everything. merging medieval-fantasy world full of magic, romances and controversies, with MECHA... is IMO the best idea Shoji Kawamori could ever come up with. the music of course too. Yoko composing and Warsaw's orchestra playing..... brilliance
it's a romance without a romance, like someone said. both main caracters are just adorable, like true teenagers lost in their feelings, clumsily trying to solve everything^^ aahhh nostalgia^^ I wish I knew some good doujinshi for it

architecture
my current occupation. when I was in high school I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with my life. I had no problems with neither directions of education, I enjoyed everything. but the fact that I liked drawing more than the average person, and I wasn't that bad at it, gave my mom an idea of educating me for an archietct. I was scared like hell at first (hell, through first 2-3 years of studies as well) because I always considered myself as totally uncreative, only able to work on something that others have created before me. but, after 5 years of intensive studies, I grew to love it and that's what I'd like to do. I'd like to CREATE. so far, I barely get any chances..... oh cruel world^^;
awesome thing architecture gave me? perspective. the fact that I'm NOT scared of it and I freely use it^^

ELLEGARDEN
[livejournal.com profile] ameru was the one that introduced me to them^^ "45" was the first song I got from her I think^^ then I got all of their songs. for a long long time they were my most favourite band. right now they still hold a high spot of being most fav japanese band, but I found other ones I like better Incubus^^;
what I like about their songs? general mood. usually their songs are energetic and optimistic, leaving me with great feeling after listening to them. I remember being really impressed at quality of Takashi's English, but right now, when I listen to them and compare to i.e. Rie Fu or Utada Hikaru who grew up in England and USA... then it's not THAT impressive^^; much better than your average Japanese guy, that's for sure^^;
cruel thing? they split up ;______; and I was so curiou of their next album ;__;

mechas
hahaha this one is unexpected XDDD
ok, so I enjoy mecha animes, watched last 5 seasons of gundam in a row (GW and G00 being the best IMO), 2... 3 Macross seasons, all FMP series and a few more BUT!! I am NOT a mecha geek. my bro and [livejournal.com profile] cofie are, not me XDDDD I cannot draw a mecha to save my life, I cannot remember all gundams' names, heck I cannot even distiguish second generation model of each gundam! I distinguish for example deathscythe hell from custom deathscythe but distinguishing for example arios gundam from kyrios is not that easy, because I DON"T REALLY CARE about them XDDD I care about pilots, when someone dies for example because the the mecha was pierced through or when the mecha's system takes control over the pilot. things like that XDDD
exceptions? mentioned Deathscythe gundam, because of his looks (color, wings) and because of his pilot^^;
ARX-7 and ARX-8 - Al's sence of humor is just priceless XDDD and so is his pilot^^;
escaflowne - because it looks totally different than most mechas. oh and the pilot too^^;
SEE???? XDD

The Shar likes your answers :D I too was afraid of the FMA first volume cover XD But, I find the art right now to be quite developed and awesome. It's original and I can pick it out from other mangakas!

OMG! Escaflowne dub hurts XD This is coming from a dub lover XD

I am jealous of your perspective!

My favorite Ellegarden song is Missing :D

I don't know why I picked Mechas. I just knew you liked Gundam and such XD But lol.

dzioo is happy then^^
hahaha yeah that cover can scare people^^ actually, the art inside the chapter wasn't bad, it was unique, to say the least. very simple yet very accurate and detailed^^ right now it's just awesome, I can't believe how much she's developed

hahaha it's an old series so I bet people didn't put enough care and work into making it at that time^^

my favs are probably jitterbug and star fish but there are so many of them^^; oh and mr feather^^

yeah I like them XDD it's cool, no need to worry^^ writing about them was quite enjoyable actually^^

I say you're doing a really great job when it comes to staying calm and optimistic! As usual, you're way better than me XD And hey, one answer of twenty isn't all that bad in the current climate. It could be worse. And I wish you good luck - in all your quests ^^

So, five subjects, please? ^^

And about your five things (short, in case some might end up as mine as well XD):
I think your mom guided you in the right direction! And now it even sounds like you think so too ^^

My reaction to the FMA manga when I first saw it was very much like yours, I think. Odd style. But somehow I got past that stage, and then, well... You know the rest XD As for Escaflowne, I still actually haven't seen it in anything else than its German dub version - and maybe the occasional episode in French. And even so I loved it. (Actually, Escaflowne and GW was pretty much my introduction to the mecha genre, so I got a good start I suppose ^^). Speaking of gundams, you already know I'm more of a GW and Seed boy ^^ But I share your disinterest in the actual mecha details. Which, I suppose, is not all that surprising for you to hear XDDD

You can't draw a mecha? Now that's more surprising, given your field of education XDD I mean, angles and surfaces, that's all there is to a mecha, isn't it? ^^ Ok, so you're not brought up to be a technical illustrator, but still... XD

I try at least, I can't stay depressed because that'll affect my work and there's nobody at work to cheer me up^^;

five for you? it's not that easy actually^^; ok so you get Cagalli, politics, fanfiction, shadow and shyness hope it's not THAT difficult^^

I enjoy it very much right now, I wish I could show how much more often though^^;

odd, but you need to admit that unique and it's extremely hard to copy it (look at the anime, it's nowhere close to it)
hmmmm I need to send you my copy then. you HAVE to see it, seriously (hahaha actually mine too XDDD) it's not surprising at all^^; considering how much I don't care when my bro and dad start talking about cars then it should explain everything^^;

well, I haven't tried^^; but I can't darw it from my memory^^; too complicated>< if I had refferences though, then it's a piece of cake^^

So you just decide that being depressed is unproductive and pointless and succeed that good?! As I said, you ARE better than me, girl! ^^ That said, there's always sms in case you feel the need for it ^^

Oooh, interesting choices XD And don't you worry, I'm sure I can make something out of them.

Yes, Arakawa's style is unique and it took a while to get used to. I think it says a lot about the quality of the story that it made me accept the in my eyes unusual art at first. (And you're right, the anime doesn't have the uniqueness, it's just shiny. But in a good way ^^ And I really hope the coming one will be equally shiny.)

Gah, everytime you start to talk about Escaflowne I feel a strong urge to rewatch it. You're so baaad to me XDDDD Hmmm, or I can go to Poland for the copy myself... ^^

Yes, but you're a girl and can use that as a (bad) excuse at least, I'm much more supposed to be into mecha tech details. And cars... ^^;

Someday we just have to try to force you to draw a Deathscythe you know... ^^
