dziooSPOILERS EVERYWHERE
Macross Frontier
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT????????? ok Grace has outdone herself.... Ranka's purpose is confusing me...
the entire episode started rather fluffily (sp?), them exploring the jungle, remembering some earlier meetings.... everything was going smoothly. then Ranka dissapeared into the macross... it was confirmed also, that it's the one, of which she's one of a few survivors. Vajira's nest is located there and Ranka is trapped. Brera comes, fights with them and hits the biggest one. when the giant Vajira (the queen probably?) was hit in her abdomen, Ranka's stomack started shining.... some episodes earlier, when she sang with Sheryl on her concert, something shone and grew from it too.... is she in any way connected to the Vajiras? aaaaggghhh it's confusing><
Brera seems to be her brother, but somehow he's turned into a cyborg and doesn't remember much....
Sheryl was being drugged by Grace... good thing she didn't take that one medicice, so Michael can inspect it. she was kinda brave, wanting to pilot by herself and all. good thing she's not only a useless singer but has nice character and temper XDDD
then Grace activated a Dimention Eater.... and it started to EAT the whole planet, literally!!!!!!! Ranka is inside the macross fleet, and they have already entered a separate fold. Sheryl and Michael managed to grab on one of them, so they should be ok.... Alto was flying by himself and the dislocation of fold was closing DANGEROUSLY close to him... from the preview it seems like he managed to survive though.... Grace is a goner I think. she was attached to the Dimention eater (her hand turned into a bunch of... wires? tentackles? whatever, nasty view) so unless she can transfer through dimentions by herself, she'd be eaten by this one.
and I was holding my chair for most of this episode>< it was exciting, to say the least. THRILLING!! great action, suspence, drama. oh god, I want more~~
Slayers Revelution
first - anime episode no 1:
pfffffffffffffffffffff ahahahahahahahaha Megumiiiiii~~!! I missed you XDDDD all of you, I missed you so much! this silly cracky humor, explosions, curses, magic, EVERYTHING XDDDDD all in all, I enjoyed this one soooooo much XDDD Captain Jack Sparrow cracked me up XDDDD Wizer wasn't as funny as in the manga, but his bicycle was precious^^
what confuses me the most though, is that Zel..... doesn't sound like himself>< it's said everywhere that original cast is playing here, so either it's a mistake and Midorikawa isn't there, OR I don't remember his voice too well and it really is him. OR it is him clearly but his voice has changed so much so I don't recognise him anymore^^; still, it calls for checking up my Slayers anime^^
Manga chapter 1 & 2:
I may like Pocota actually^^ it has similar traits with Lina, and his Fight For Juctice cracked Amelia into her favourite mood XDDDD Zel was precious XDDD his way of thinking in the second chapter was a pure win XDDDDD Lina's too XDDDDDD "sweet lil' rabbit" was turned into a pile of debris though^^; I want to see 2 dragon slaves fired at each other in anime O_O that scene was AWESOME.
all in all?? I was wary over this series but I'm happy it's back^^ this one is a pure fantasy adventure and there haven't been many good series of this kind over many many years^^ deffinetely on my list of anime and manga of this season^^
Soul Eater
need to catch up with the anime>< finished on ep 11, when Tsubaki defeated her brother and I must say. BONES........ please continue to amaze me with your animation O_O I think it's my no 1 this summer/spring. oh yes
as for manga - Balck Star is baaaaaaaack XDDD and he's kicking Mifune's ass XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD oh boy, this fight is absolutley stunning. I'm happy that Black Star managed to overcome his doubts. with all his determination and hard work he reminds me of young Naruto sometimes XDD he's also a bit silly, but much wiser and more understanding than the loud shinobi^^; his bond with Tsubaki is especially beautiful. I wasn't expecting to like this kid so much.... boy, this series has too many well developed characters
Manga
no bleach this week ;______; me wants awesome Vaizard vs Aizen battle ;_; I want to see Urahara in action... and Yoriuchi.... and.... and Isshin, I want to know his story ;_____; damn, why did it become so good again><
Naruto - still slooooooooooow as a snail mail, now they concentrate on solving some damn code.... for 2 chapters already.... it could be done in just ONE but nooooo, you have to make it dramatic and all...... Kakashi was precious though XDDD all embarrased XDDDD
TRC - yaaaay finally new one^^; I didn't want to get to like it THAT much, but somehow the story caught my heart. it's so cofusing though!!! hopefully those past!arc chapters will explain, who exactly IS the clone and who ISN'T....... Sakura's brother is precious XDDD hahaha his fights with Syaoran are always so hilarious XDDDD nad wow, Sakura to actually call HIM a brat too, it was really brave^^
Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden - I was in the mood for shoujo yesterday and found it on onemanga. it seems to be a different story but similar to original FY. in one author's note Watase even compared male leads from both series^^;;; here at least the romance is defined, even if maybe some other guy likes the heroine, only one gets close to her (that other one has another crush other than her XDDD). as usual, there's romance, lots of comedy and... well.... dramatic development regarding the main couple... althugh I expected it to turn out like this, it still was cruel...
funny thing about this series? male lead..... can also be a female..... LOL XDDDDDD
Ouran - still following it.... but only for humor..... although I need to admit - Hikaru has GUTS. to confess, to edure the rejection and then tell Tamaki to give his best... wow..... it's heroic even....
my main problem with this manga is the same, it's concentraiting on 2 pairings only (and gives OBVIOUS hints that only one is possible). and I'm not saying it as a supporter of a different one. it's become a simple, even if cracky, shoujo. and I liked it more when it was just a pure CRACK.... with shoujo elements, not other way round>< so I think it's the only example I know where anime, being adaptation of a manga, turned out to be better.... sorry

just so you know, my diploma's finished, it's being printed right now, should arrive tomorrow morning... then I have to prepare my speach and.... well.... wait for DOOM's day...... wish me luck..... tuesday 11am..... heeelp~~ ;____;

shining stomachs, aliens and growing things... is it a hentai you're watching? XDI haven't read as much of the Ouran manga (yet) to be as disappointed as you. Either that, or I've just accepted it is a shoujo manga after all and shrugged it off. But the fact remains, it's the anime version I fell in love with, not the manga. But that doesn't mean I will stop reading it. ^^;

Date: 2008-07-05 01:45 pm (UTC)hehe the first episode sure gives that impression^^ I missed this kind of fantasy storytelling, in my opinion Slayers is one of the best, if not the best, title in this gender. however, when I look at the opening sequences, it looks that mystery and dtrama hangs in the air.... which is great, that means lots of Xellos XDDD
we still need to know motives of all fractions, that's why this sudden development was shocking for me. my bro found even more surprising fact in that episode. this Dimention Eater is produced by Luca's family......
I'm FAIRLY positive that it's NOT hentai, but I can never be sure XDDDD if it is, it has unusually complex plot.... from what I've heard is uncommon for hentai movies XDDDDDit's slightly different, I wouldn't say I actually recommend it, anime is much better. if you have time, you can try it though, there are some events that weren't included in anime and are rather cute and funny^^
I'm trying XDDD that's why I'm watching/reading so much and drawing now XDDD
