OK so conclusion is? Polish fandom is still waaaaayyyy behind the whole world ><
not only original pictures of buttons didn't sell good, mine included, TTGL fanart buttons did sell AT ALL!!! only ones that were popular were shounen-ai naruto fanarts and L fanarts (as DN is freshly published in Poland). so yeah. I feel kinda bitter about it. not that everything is lost, there's still online shop we plan, but anyway, it'd be nice to be noticed by your natives ;_;

UGH! It's so stupid how nobody appreciates original art! >A< All they like is fanart. TTATT it's too bad the sale didn't go well! yeah it's kinda disapointing. especially that for ONCE I wanted to do something original and more artistic. all my drawings consist of fanart or fandom-based drawing ><

hahaha it's not me who did them^^; we are a group of artists, that way we can make a bigger order and it's cheaper to produce everything^^

Right now here are more and more anime fans but you know most of them are those type of anime fanbrats who just from watching Naruto (or stick only to dubbed anime) they think to know about everything manganime-related Dx

it's the same here D: although the fandom is quite old, new guys watch dubbed series on TV (naruto and bleach right now) but have access to the internet but THEY DON"T BOTHER TO GET TO KNOW ANYTHING ELSE DDDDDD: which is sad. there are so many awesome series, much much better than those ones DX

The common people have no taste then, it seems! And you know what they say, you can never be a prophet in your home city/country (or whatever the saying is if it exists in English ^^;) I dunno what would have sold had it been here, but I suspect it would be the same kind of naruto fancrowds. They seem to be worldwide for some odd reason. And probably some One Piece and maybe Death Note, since that particular one seem to be popular even without a local publishing this far.

Seeing it was an ecchicon, maybe some more ecchi-esque ones had sold better and these would have had more success on a more general con? I don't know. But it's always easy saying such a thing afterward >< An online sale sounds like a good idea to me.

Mmm, I want the geisha one, naturally. The question is which more... I'm having a hard time choosing here XD Let me think a little more before I decide ^^;

(Monthly dose of sea-life abuse... sounds somewhat like another way to talk about baaad things involving tentacles to me... XDDDD but I assume it's really about something else here ^^)

Don't worry, no joke intended. I was just wondering how many of them I can get away with wanting. ^^; The dark one is kinda nice (for a moment I started to wonder if that one was a Death Note fanart one, since I haven't read/seen much DN this far I was unsure. But from what you say now, it's probably not ^^), and then as you mention there's that more ecchi one with boobs too, which is strangely attractive... XDD (actually, I like the butterfly one too, but that's more, well, girly ^^;)

(oh... XD should've guessed. And then I fully agree. More sea-life abuse to the people!)

yes, it's a heart... but also boobs. So I'm supposed to be fixated by them XD I'm a baaad male in that aspect you know, not honoring that traditional obsession enough XDDD. But you're probably right. So the geisha and the "finding the motif" (or whatever I should call the other darkish square one) ones for me then ^^
