during last month, 3 unrelated people, who happened to find out I'm a manga artist, said, not even knowing eachother (or me earlier), that "it suits me and I look like someone who'd draw something like that"




O_o wtf?? why do I LOOK like a manga artist????????????? is there something unusual in my appeariance?? one of those people said that my looks make it quite obvious

Honestly, at first glance, to me, you don't look like an Asian ^^;

but with your looks, it's possible for you to be like a Indonesian, Malaysian . . or Filipina xD Since those Asian countries are like a mixture of many other races ^_^

But Japanese . . definitely not. The eyes explain everything >_>

I don't think a drawing genius can really be determined by looks alone. So it's possible . . .possible that those people you mentioned just . . .errr . . flattered you too much? x_X

well, that's only what I think ^^; but you are indeed a terrific artist ^_^ I just don't think looks have something to do with it o_O

well I'm saying that they werent really shocked after finding out, more like it was obvious for them, and they said that my looks explained everything.

Nope, you look like a northern European to me. Nothing exactly screaming "manga style artist" there. Maybe it's more of a "creative person" impression or something they get? But then it's more from meeting you that from your look I guess.

(There's nothing wrong with your look btw. You have a nice, down-to-earth, normal-in-a-good-way look ^^ Nothing to be ashamed of. (And in addition to the two more artful pics, I find myself for some reason really liking pic #3. Don't know why. And it's not because of your red eyes. XD))
And your hair color seems to be eerily similar to mine XDDD

hmmmm may be that it's my character. one of my friends (who's an otaku as well) used to say that I behave like an anime character sometimes XDDD aaaahhhh miss those times^^

same here. that's why I'm becoming distand with miz for example, because everytime I see her online I think she's really busy or not in the mood to talk to me^^; really, I have to stop thinking about others only.

Yes, first the anime infects your brain, and then it starts to change your appearance to that of a typical manga artist. Makes perfect sense XDDDD

I like those pics, they're very artistic ^^ (and even if I'm old-fashioned enough to appreciate to know what people I communicate with looks like, I think it's totally understandable if you don't want to show a lot of pics on the net for everyone to see (and I'm not exactly giving around a lot of of pics myself either, so I can't complain too much ^^;))

The funny thing with your example is that miz is pretty much the only one I DO jump on in msn every now and then XDD To her annoyance sometimes, I'm sure ^^;; But at least she's very straightforward when it comes to telling me off. And lately she HAS been very busy I presume. ^^ (And speaking of miz, she sure wouldn't agree on your "gentleman" label for me... XDDDD)
