last post before sleep

weekend without parents resulted in sketching madness^^; but I've had it in mind for quite a few years and finally reached the point when (I think) my skills should give them justice




passing time has changed many things about them. their proportions and masses. it defined the strength of their hands. firm lines of their jaws. intense gazes in their eyes. passion in their hearts. and their characters. but it has never, not even for a moment, changed the fact, that they're together.

first I've created Maes and Bruce only, to accompany Nina, but the two seemed lonely and didn't allow me so much flexibility, so I added an extra friend, Nash. now the three were comfortable together. they're totally different. Nash is the one that thinks straight and has to plan each of their action, so they don't end up in total mess. Maes is the one with hottest temper. he explodes at times, but he's the first one to jump in front of the other two. Bruce is capable of doing the silliest things with straight face, allowing the other two blissful privilege of laughter. they met when they were just 8 years old. two were chubby and with low self esteem. one was skin and bones, but with never ending stamina, dragging the other two along so they wouldn't feel lonely. they changed each others' lives, what cemented them as one monolith.

a little nostalgic piece of my three guys, setting them in time and space of my story. it's not any anniversary or anything today, because I can't remember when I've created them for sure^^; it just hit me at one point during the day that maybe, I'd be able to finish it^^; so here you have them, as kids, teenagers and adults. to compare and to see exactly how they interact.
yes, Bruce wanted that starry pillow VERY much. when I say he's silly, I mean it XDD

If you ask me, your skills more than give them justice. It's a wonderful idea! And a good view of them. (Even if I still can't imagine how those two chubby boys could end up such handsome young males XD) And I'm getting more and more fond of Nash for some reason.

Bruce i Nash takie pulchne dzieci, tylko Maesa Ed nie karmił w domu |D pewnie pyskował! Czy ma po prostu szybki metabolizm? lmao xD ale bosz, Bruce to się baardzo zmienił ;o widząc TAKIEGO grubaska myślałabym, że ma to w genach i będzie taki przez całe życie, a tu XD

When I first saw this at DA I fell in love with it instantly. Whether we want it or not, it reminds us of our own life-long friendships too ^^ and it's funny to see how they developed throughout the years, I think it's an intense yet subtle piece of artwork. And there's nothing better than a photo set to show the beautiful moments in life ^^

and that starry pillow... I want one too...
