no screen-shots as I'm at work and don't have the episode with me^^;

all I can say for it ep is HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <33333333 but let's start from the beginning^^;
Scar fighting the ol' Comanche was nice^^ no idea why they fit it in there but it was nicely animated and felt good. what worries me about it is that Scar got a wound on his leg that was healed by Mei. does this mean we won't get him shot by Riza in Central when they're hunting for homunculi? hmmmmmmm
another thing is Mei. daaaawwww, she's the most adorable creature, defending Xiao Mei as her companion~~ "I wasn't alone!!" and then Scar....... sorry fella, your weak point has been revealed XDDDDD I was laughing soooo hard when he froze with his hand reaching for the little panda XDDDD Yoki is as mean as usual so it's nice, I'm just sad his story was skipped ;_; he'd have so much more meaning then ;_;

moving on, the new op. THE. NEW. OP. the quality of the animation is breathtaking, I don't want to know how big budget they had for it>< that first white and grey scene was really pretty and camera entering Al's head was also a nice touch^^ then we get a pretty view at Central HQ being lit by the sun. typical but still nice^^ Mei. oh Mei, can you get even more adorable? XDD the setting for her was really appropriate XDDD as a side note, I still can't believe how much PINK they manage to fit in without it feeling awkward^^; getting back to OP, the exchange of fierce looks between Ed and Hoho was just badass, accompanied by that sunset *_* the sequence with Roy-tachi, and that flag blowing in the wind (that is just taken directly from volume 9's cover^^;) was a candy on the top of the cake~ Ed reaching out to get Al out of the gate - mrrraaauu~~ me loves such beautiful touches^^ the introduction to homunculi and Father was beautiful as well. makes me eager to see Envy in his real form animated >DDDD the fighting sequences, oh the FIGHTING!! Ed transmuting those pillars and then fighting on them with Envy and Gluttony - gorgeous. Roy fighting Lust in flames - priceless *_* Ling, RanFan and Fu fighting Bradley - fantastic. Ed exchanging blows with Scar - I.... I'm at loss of words...... seriously, they HAVE to make all those fights beautiful. so far they haven't disapointed me. Ed fighting with Scar for the first time was beautiful. Ed "fighting" Paninya in Rush Valley was really nicely done. Ed fighting Greed was very pretty. Greed fighting Bradley was just perfect. so I'm hopeful^^ as for the song, it's very catchy and powerful as well, so I'm already addicted XDD

now that we're done with the OP, let's get to the episode itself^^ Barry is in love~~ shame Roy didn't threaten him and they didn't show Falman being in charge of Barry in the future XDD oh well, we got Black Hayate pulling on Barry's coat XDD
Ed and Al waltzing in to Winry's shop and then Win splitting Ed's skull in two with a wrench was cute XDDD Garfiel's banner still cracks me up XDDD
one name made this episode or maybe two - LIN and MamoruXDDDDDDD the moment he spoke I knew he'd be just perfect XDDDD "don't worry about small things" XDDD oh Lin, how good to see you animated^^ Mamoru played him amazing, both in his silly state and with his face serious. The fighting between Ed and RanFan was amazing, dynamic and very fluid *_* I loved that part when they were sliding down those pipes and Ed transmuted his "spear" O_O Ed's mischievous grin when he was upside down was terrific XDDDD
Al fighting Fu alongside with Paninya was equally amazing^^ I'm happy they kept both explosions happening at the same time XDD Lin pretending he doesn't speak Amestrian language was hilarious XDDDDD and when Ed realized that he no longer has the advantage of transmuting without a circle... buahahahahaha XDDD he was writing with his blood in the same fashion as Mustang was writing in the omake about miniskirts XDDDD that cracked me up XDDDDDDDDDD
and when we got back to the shop, Lin's there again. and Ed smashed his head with his own automail XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD when Win thanked Garfiel for vacation and was all sparky I thought I was going to die XDDD it's a shame we didn't get much of her master though:/ he's a pure lovely crack so seeing him how he offers the Elrics himself to kill time was something I was looking forward to ;_; but at least we got his pinky standing out when he was holding his tea cup XDDDDD

the ending was pretty. I may be the only one to say it but it's much prettier than the previous one, left me with much bigger impact. why you ask? first we see Win looking straight ahead. and then we see both brothers from behind. that certain view on them is important to her, especially in regards to events yet to come. the last thing she saw of her parents were their back. when Ed and Al go to fight Scar later, she'll remember seeing them in the same fashion. also, there are Hohenheim's back in the ending too. and that's the last thing Ed and Al saw of him. Arakawa seems to put great value in one's back, giving it so much meaning in so many people's eyes. that's why this ending is not just random characters facing in random directions. at least for me^^; and the song is really pretty too^^

next week we're getting dreadful news..... that ed running especially broke my heart ;_; I wonder if they're going to fit Maria Ross in there as well

all in all? I LOVED IT XDDDD give me a few Xingese characters and the series is totally made of win now XDDDDD can't wait for future episodes~~
