my brother gave me the cutest gift I could expect him to give me. he downloaded the whole Escaflowne series^^ weeeeeeeee, me soooooo happy!!!! XDDD thank you bro!
I remember watching this series on some foreign channel a few years ago. it was a love at first sight. now I was able to refresh it. althought I wasn't sure if I'd be able to enjoy it as I used to. I was wrong. this is one of 2 or 3 animes that is able to make me cry, scare me and so on. still, after many years without it. and Van is still my top bishie XDDDD
in Poland we have long weekend now. 9 days without school XDDDD but I'm still working on my projects, it's necessary for me to have as much done as possible, once the weekend is over I need to go back to school AND work ==;
I miss my sisters. I miss my friends. they're all so busy, everytime I see them online I don't want to bother them scared that I'd just waste their time. so sorry if you see me and I don't talk to you. but I do miss you, honestly

the movie is an alternate retelling of the entire series, a bit darker with...... slightly different design^^; so if you didn't like the series, you shouldn't watch the movie^^;
you may not like it, I understand. everyone has their own tastes. but to be honest it's probably one of my top 5 series I've watched ever^^; sorry if that dissapoints you^^

The movie is odd and awkward in comparrison to the series, but it still is an enjoyable movie. It was meant to be seperate from the series, and that's just what it was ^^;

it is an extraordinary series. but because it's quite old (11 years now) it's hard to get. but I was lucky to have found it on BT^^
the music is breathtaking O_O Yoko Kanno is indeed one of my favourites anime composers (alomg with Kenji Kawai^^) did you know that it was plyed by Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded in Warsaw as well?? XDDD hehehe my country had it's part in doing such an awesome series XDDD

Yoko Kanno is indeed amazing. I also like Yuki Kajura (sp?). That's an awesome discover, yo!
Yep, I watched it dubbed and Cut back in the day. It was so horrible (the edited scenes), they stoped showing halfway though, but I was able to seek out the uncut and it was love all over again!
They are hard icons to come by.

you mean Yuki Kajiura?? the one that composed music for hack series and Gundam Seed?? she's awesome as well, although her music is too electronic for me^^;

VG Cats is one of these comics that are really fun when I get what it's about (like this one), but all too often I feel I'm not enough into console gaming to get all the fun stuff ><

and true, there's so much more new stuff to watch. but then again, I don't remember a series that has similar mood. my brother and I lately noiced, that there are very few series that are kept in true fanasy spirit. this one, despite avanced technology in some places, is one of those few. that's why I love it so much
it's ok^^ I don't have much time myself, I'd love to talk to you some more, but then finals are ahead==;
the only webcomic I read regularly is sinfest, because it's fairly unrelated to any computer and gaming stuff^^; you don't play much, I don't play at all XDDD I found it by accident and it made me laugh so hard that I had to post it
