refurnishing is done

and so I can finally boast about my room's new look.



general view of my room. I'm aware it's huge, but we live in a detached house, in such rooms are usually much bigger than in blocks>< here you can see the main wall with my wardrobe and book shelf. FINALLY I have one wardrobe where all my clothes fit and one bookshelf^^;

aaand my desk. I love my desk. it's enormous. I finally have enough space for keyboard, tablet AND sketchbook, in case I draw and talk at the same time^^


the door wall. a few years ago my dad added this great structure on it and so I decided to make it a little more visible this time. previously there was a table by it, a few pictures hanging and a stand, killing its square shape. not sure if those shelves don't do the same, but they're at least more centered.


my bed. the piece I was waiting for the longest, because its original colors were different. but it's really comfortable^^


and the last piece, my carpet. everything in the room is square/rectangular so I picked one that had a totally different pattern. and it's so soft~


so yeah, I'm really happy with this purchase. this set, accompanied by lamps, curtains and carpet was pretty expensive, but hey, I earned that fair and square. now the room at least feels like mine. and in case you're wondering, this is how it looked like earlier:

Oooooo. I love the way your room looks. All of my rooms are a hodgepodge and I hate it but I also haven't figured out how to store the things I love (and want to keep) as well as have a house with about seven less rooms than what I had previously.

Hmm, what more can I say? Oh yes, those shelves definitely don't kill off the square structure shape, so don't worry. It's a lovely room! Not to mention a great improvement. (Now I just wish my room wasn't to such a high degree made by my early teen self when it comes to furniture choices ;_;)

It's totaly different from the last one, you've made a huge upgrade ^^ I get the feeling that it's a really "architectish" room xD

Beautiful! I love the little square lamps too, and all the squareness of everything. Very nice. I'll be posting pix of my new place soon. Gotta get everything over here and into place first.
