Pimping an amazing story

so you probably all know halcyonjazz is doing a webcomic calles Sfeer Theory. you should know that the idea for it was created by a girl called moonsheen. she's an author and it seems, that apart from Sfeer Theory and Cry Havoc, she's written many short stories.

one of them is called [Naomi and the Dream Eater] and could very much be, if expanded, a great competition for Harry Potter, Narnia or whatever else fantasy story you can think of excluding Twilight, that's just.....



which is hidden by a cut because it's spoilery and a little half-assed^^; but I'm not Chira><
the story's about a girl, who's a witch. she has an animal artefact, called a Familiar. every witch has one. some of them are very elegant. she was blessed with a tapir. a baby tapir. which at first was a useless creature but turned out to be very powerful. but only in certain circumstances

want to know more? read it. and when you're done, convince Muun to please continue writing it. it's.... OMG

akjsdhkjasj no seriously I have to gush more!!! The sense of perspective and dramatic posing that just SCREAMS "badass time" is so well accomplished! I love how the style of the ink drawing, nearly looking like a woodcut, and what I love the most is the use of disconnected linework and short strokes to bring the image to life through negative space and a deep understanding of light and shadow to show that both Naomi and Baku are in a dreamstate right now. And, additionally, how Baku is the most solid part of the drawing because the dream is his realm so it'd make sense he's the most corporeal. The more I look at the more I feel I have to study it because it was so well executed.

I just. Wow! This is so incredible. I AM SO GLAD I LINKED YOU TO THIS STORY. I am so happy for this story to get such amazing fanart, oh my gosh!

wow, thank you so much! I had no idea you'd like it at all! I felt a little bad drawing them before you did it but I had a huge surge of inspiration flowing into me after reading it. such an amazing story!
and thank you very much for all those amazing compliments, gosh! you're one of my biggest inspiration as an artist and I feel honored being complimented by you^^ I'm glad it's visible that both Baku and Naomi are in dream state now, it was a little tricky to do><
